Concerts—Saturday May 6, 7:00 p.m., and Sunday May 7, 3:00 p.m., both at St. Saviour's Church in Bar Harbor; Saturday May 14, 3:00 p.m., at St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Ellsworth.

"Dress" rehearsals—Tuesday May 2, Thursday May 4 with orchestra, Friday May 5 with soloists, all at 7:00 p.m. at St. Saviour's Church in Bar Harbor.  There will also be a rehearsal at St. Andrew the following Tuesday, the 9th, also at 7 pm.

Rehearsals—Tuesday evenings, 7:00-9:00 p.m., at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Ellsworth (121 Bucksport Rd.) Please be in place and ready to sing at 7:00. (Note: The last 3 or 4 rehearsals in Ellsworth may be extended by 15-20 minutes. This additional time will allow us to spend less time standing on the risers during the rehearsals at St. Saviour's.) The last rehearsal at the Unitarian Church, on April 25, is intended to be a performance-worthy run-through of the entire program.

Fees—Dues: $40. Cost of music: $20. Checks are to be made out to the Acadia Choral Society. Dues may be paid in two installments; in case of need, scholarships for dues are available. Please contact the chorus treasurer, Gerry Gregersen (, for any special arrangements.

Attendance—You will be allowed three absences per semester. If you know that you will miss two or more rehearsals in a row, please notify Barbara Thompson at rehearsal prior to your absence. Attendance at the dress rehearsal is mandatory. If you must drop out of the chorus for any reason, please contact the chorus president, Michael Marion, at 288-4884.

(Note: Exceptions to the three-absences guideline are made at the director's discretion. However, please make attendance a top priority. We work most effectively and efficiently when everyone is present.)

Weather cancellations—If a rehearsal will be canceled because of weather, the phone tree will be activated by 3:00 p.m., so please be sure that we have a number where you can be reached.

Concert dress—Women: White blouse, black long skirt or black slacks. Men: White long-sleeved shirt, black trousers.
